YubiKey 2

Yubico's core product is the YubiKey, for simple and secure identification where username/password and security software applications on a computer or phone are no longer secure enough.

Unlike conventional hardware authentication tokens, the YubiKey uses a built-in keyboard to send One- Time Passwords (OTP). With a simple touch of the YubiKey, it generates an encrypted password, eliminating password entry errors and synchronization faults - with no client software needed. Furthermore, YubiKey is ultra-thin, crush safe, waterproof and battery-free.

The YubiKey can be configured for several modes, including OATH and is also available with an integrated RFID chip for combined digital and physical access. The YubiKey is supported through free open source server software and a hosted validation service for easy integration into any application.
